"Help me! Oh God, someone!" These are the words of a spirit slipping away. Disappearing out of the world before anyone knew it was there. Illusion heard these words often. They are the last desperate plea before the blood flows. Sometimes he could save them, sometimes he could not.

This was taken at Arlington National Cemetery in May. I was in Washington, DC for a school trip. And in honor of Veteran's Day this year, I decided to put this up to remind us of all the soldiers the US (and other countries) have lost over horrible years of nonsensical fighting and violence. This picture represents a teeny tiny portion of the whole cemetery.

You're right, that's not even a small portion of Arlington. The first time I saw it, I wasn't aware of how truly massive the place was, and I won't ever forget how I felt when I realized it.
